Our approach is to ensure we spend quality time with you to holistically assess your rehabilitation needs.

We will provide you with expert advice about your condition, and ensure that you are completely clear about the course of treatment, and the cost and time implications. At opcare we understand the difficulty and cost implications of undertaking a course of private treatment. We have the history, expertise and dedication to ensure that this is a decision that you will make with all the information you need and a clear treatment pathway

At opcare we understand the importance of your interaction with your prosthetist. We have a number of specialist prosthetists who are highly experienced at both upper and lower limb work as well as silicone cosmesis and orthotics.

The first step is the initial consultation. During the consultation the Doctor and prosthetist will listen to you, and ask a lot of questions to establish your history.

At the end of the assessment, the clinician will recommend a course of treatment. If you agree to this, we will then schedule appointments for you once funding for the course of treatment is in place. It is worth noting that almost without exception - multiple visits are required.

Upon delivery of the artificial limb we will agree a review plan with you, and give you bespoke, comprehensive information to help you look after your prosthesis.
