opcare offer a complete range of prosthetic care for both upper and lower limb loss, using the most appropriate solution matched to the patient's needs.

opcare treat prosthetic patients througout the UK and we employ prosthetists, technicians and administrators in centres from Exeter to Newcastle, Norwich to Belfast.

opcare work in partnership with the NHS to deliver the service, in many centres with what is known as a Consultant led
Multi-Disciplinary Team. This means a team of health care professionals led by a senior doctor, with other professions such as physiotherapists and occupational therapists.opcare has led the way in terms of innovation in prosthetic services since 1989. We brought computer aided socket design to the UK in 1995, and were the first organisation to develop in house designed management information systems. Since then we have delivered over 150,000 digitally recorded prosthetic work orders.

We were the first organisation to be awarded a recognised quality standard in 1992, and we are now the only service provider to have ISO13485 - a standard specific for medical devices. We were also awarded the Investors in People standard in 2007 (re-awarded in 2012) which recognises our progressive approach to the management and development of our staff.
