Introduction

opcare is one of the largest providers of prosthetic and orthotic services to the NHS in the UK with over 70,000 patients. opcare was founded in 1989, and now has over 250 employees in the UK.

Our services involve the design, manufacture and fitting of artificial limbs (prostheses) to over 25% of NHS users of prostheses - more than 15,000 people. We currently provide services to over 60,000 orthotics patients.

We also provide wheelchair and specialist seating services to the NHS.

Over the last 20 years we have grown  to become one of the largest providers in the country, with centres in Bath, Belfast, Bradford, Bristol, Cambridge, Coventry, Epsom, Exeter, Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich, Oxford, Roehampton and St Helier.  Our Head Office is based in Abingdon.
